Sunburst
Ingredients
1 green apple, cored and chopped
3 carrots, peeled and chopped
1 mango, peeled, and stoned (pitted)
150ml/¼ pint/⅔ cup freshly squeezed orange juice, chilled
6 strawberries, hulled
Ice cubes, to serve
Slices of orange, to decorate

Method
Place the apple, carrots and mango in a food processor or blender and process to a pulp. Add the orange juice and strawberries and process again.
Place a large sieve over a bowl and pour in the fruit pulp. Press out all the juice using the back of a wooden spoon. Discard any pulp left in the sieve.
Pour the juice into tall glasses filled with ice. Decorate each with a slice of orange and serve immediately.
Variation:- To make a nutritious breakfast smoothie, blend half a glass of sunburst with half a glass of natural (plain) yogurt.
