Spiced Olive Oil With Ginger And Fennel Seeds

Ingredients

1 thick ginger piece, approx. 3 cm/1 inch
2 tsp fennel seeds
1 cup olive oil
1 empty bottle (225 ml)


Method

1. Cut the ginger in thin slices. Gently crush the fennel seeds in mortar.


2. Insert the herbs in the empty bottle and pour in the olive oil. Seal the bottle.


3. Two (2) weeks later remove the herbs from the bottle.
